Trevor Brown is an electric, upright, and synth bassist, producer, and music director based in New York City. He has performed alongside artists including Paul McCartney, Ben Platt, Sam Smith, Jennifer Hudson, Cynthia Erivo, The Harlem Gospel Travelers, Ne-Yo, Laufey, Ela Taubert, Corey Glover, Tank, Meghan Trainor, Nicole Scherzinger, Planetary People, Rachel Zegler, Alex Newell, Shoshana Bean, Kristin Chenoweth, Leslie Odom Jr., Maleah Joi Moon, Laura Dreyfuss, Adrienne Warren, Kecia Lewis, Kelli O’Hara, Gaten Matarazzo, Skylar Astin, Mykal Kilgore, Brian d’Arcy James, and Micaela Diamond.
As a producer, Brown is a recipient of the ASCAP Foundation Harold Adamson Lyric Award. His film credits include electric bass on El Robo del Siglo, the highest-grossing film in Argentine history.
Brown has performed at notable events and venues such as the The Today Show, Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Ring Ceremony, VEVO, KEXP, SFJAZZ, Newport Folk Festival, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, BRIC Jazz Fest, Cork Jazz Festival, The Shubert Theatre, The Palace Theater, The Blue Note and NPR’s Mountain Stage. He has also served as music director for events in Cabo San Lucas, St. Barth’s, San Francisco, New York City, and throughout the Northeast.
On Broadway, Brown is currently subbing on the Grammy Award–winning Alicia Keys musical Hell’s Kitchen.
